We're stocked with everything you might need at a moment's notice, for the next camping & fishing adventure or just to get that odd weekend job done. Our product range includes...
- General household items - bedding, kitchen utensils, bathroom items, mops, brooms, rugs etc.
- Furniture and whitegoods - lounges, indoor and outdoor furniture, fridges, chest freezers, washing machines, dryers etc.
- Fishing gear - fishing rods, lures, hooks, sinkers, knives etc.
- Camping gear - tents, camp chairs, blow up mattresses, pegs, gas cookers, esky’s, gas, rope etc.
- Gardening - sprinklers, hoses and hose adapters, rakes, shovels, pots, gloves, mowers, whipper snippers etc.
- Electrical - TV's, speakers, phones, cables, chargers, black boxes, power leads etc.

Address is 201 Lui Street. We are directly opposite the Bamaga Power station, corner of Army Back Street and Lui street, not far from the BP service station. Please see map.

For larger household items, we will deliver free of charge to all five NPA communities
Local advice
Our friendly team can offer plenty of helpful advice, whether it is about sourcing products we do not have in stock to fishing, camping, directions etc. Our team has a wealth of knowledge and are more than happy to help.

Many visitors find Traders to be an asset when they arrive, especially if they have done some damage to their vehicle or trailer/caravan in tow on the journey up to the Cape.
We are always happy to chat about sourcing new products. So if we don’t have something you need, make sure to let us know so we can look into stocking in the future.

How do I get there?
Head up the Peninsula Developmental Road, cross the Jardine River Ferry and head into Bamaga, where you will find us on Lui street. This is also the street to take to head out to the aeroplane wrecks (towards airport) and the Tip of Cape York, Pajinka.

What accomodation options are in the area?
Free camping (included in your ferry fee)

- Alau Beach caravan park in the community of Umagico
- Seisia Holiday Park, conveniently located near the wharf if you wanted to fish or catch the ferry over to Thursday Island
- Loyalty Beach located not far from Seisia
- Punsand Bay located out of town, closer to the Tip!

Do you take online orders and post?
No, we do not currently take online orders or post. Free delivery is offered for larger household items to any of the five NPA communities though.

Are your staff available to assist after hours in emergency?
No, as we are usually out and about ourselves, enjoying this beautiful location we live in.

Do you stock food, drinks, alcohol etc?
We do not stock food, drinks or alcohol.
You can find a feed and a cold beer down at the Bamaga Pub in the main street, opposite the Ibis supermarket, though (closed on Sunday). -
Do you stock Yeti?
Yes! Usually, we have a great selection in store. These products are only available in store, we currently do not post!
